OKLAHOMA CITY (July 22, 2024) – Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC (DRG) has been awarded a task order for Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Training Squadron 2 (VMUT-2) MQ-9 Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) Instructors.
DRG is providing MQ-9 pilot and sensor operator flight instructors as well as FRS training specialists on the effort that began July 1 at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, North Carolina. VMUT-2 is the sole Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) training squadron for the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The new task order was awarded under the Kits, Recovery, Augmentation, Components and Engines (KRACEn) indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract (MAC).
“This is an exciting milestone for our team in securing a prime task order for UAS operations. Our business development and strategy team had a long-term goal to secure this type of work to further enhance the capabilities in our overall portfolio,” said Brian Busey, chief executive officer of DRG. “We are continuing to experience amazing growth in our business, and that is a direct testament to the hard work our entire team does in executing our existing programs.”
DRG’s subcontractor on the effort is The Rockhill Group (TRG). This is the second contract the DRG/TRG partnership has won this year after adding the MC-12 Tactical Systems Operator (TSO) contract in March. Transition for this effort is currently underway.
