OKLAHOMA CITY (November 25, 2024) – Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma LLC, which has served as prime contractor on the T-6 Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) Ground Based Training System (GBTS) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program since 2017, has been awarded the eight-year follow-on contract.

The new JPATS contract, which is DRG’s fifth prime contract award for 2024, was awarded under Training Systems Acquisition IV (TSA IV) a $32.5 billion multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. Transition is set for Jan. 1.

“JPATS has been a flagship program for our organization for many years. We have experienced exceptional performance on this program, and we are elated to be able to continue serving this customer for many more years to come,” said DRG Chief Executive Officer Brian Busey. “This award adds to incredible growth for our organization. The future for our team is incredibly bright!”

The JPATS contract supports the mission of the T-6A Texan II. The aircraft is a two-seat, single-engine trainer used by the military to develop students’ basic flying skills.

Oklahoma City-based DRG will continue to provide CLS, including training device maintenance, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS), obsolescence management, device relocation and disposal/disposition, logistics support for spares and consumables, technical data management, and sustainment of and manning support for computer-aided instruction labs for more than 100 U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy T-6 A/B simulators at nine locations. DRG is also responsible for all JPATS TSSC functions, including systems engineering support, cybersecurity, quality assurance, configuration and data management, software and hardware engineering, visual database modeling, change management, audits, and maintaining program technical data plans.

The new contract entails additional requirements, including the sustainment of the T-6 Avionics Replacement development after its award in 2025. Aero Simulation Inc. (ASI) will serve as DRG’s subcontractor on the program and handle software and hardware engineering needs.

Founded in 2002 in Oklahoma City, DRG has become a leading global training service contractor specializing in the aerospace defense industry. DRG is owned and operated by the Busey family.
