DRG to Attend the 2022 I/ITSEC Conference in Orlando, FL

November 28th– December 2nd will mark the sixteenth time DRG has attended the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, Florida.

Hailed as the world’s largest modeling, simulation, and training event, the conference includes professional workshops, industry presentations, a commercial exhibit hall, and several other industry activities geared to strengthen the defense and security industry. The conference is organized and sponsored by the National Training and Simulation Association (NSTA), an affiliated subsidiary of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).

The annual I/ITSEC conference began in 1966 as the Naval Training Device Center/Industry Conference. In 1979 the title changed to Interservice/Industry Training Equipment Conference following the Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Industry, and Academia participating in the conference. A name change in 1986 to the Interservice/Industry Training Systems Conference led to taking its current title as I/ITSEC in 1992 to be more inclusive of all the aspects of the defense and security industry.

DRG has seen the benefit of attending I/ITSEC over the past 16 years. The opportunity to gather as a community in this industry is invaluable. By joining I/ITSEC year after year, DRG continues to gather data and learn new best practices to ensure we are giving our customers the very best service.

This year at the conference, our company is expanding upon its offerings by providing industry-leading aerospace and defense services focused on aircrew and simulator device training. We will be highlighting device relocation capabilities, enhancements to our company’s procurement division over the last year, and our entry into the O-level maintenance market that began this fall.

DRG acknowledges the value of attending a conference like I/ITSEC 2022 to stay aware of current industry trends in simulator training, maintenance, training device relocations and modifications, operations procurement, staff augmentation, operational aircraft maintenance, and international business.

Where You’ll Find the DRG Team at I/ITSEC

This year’s I/ITSEC conference team consists of upper management and business development staff members led by DRG’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Brian Busey. Brian appreciates the opportunities afforded to those who attend the conference saying, “Attending the conference gives us the ability to meet and engage with our industry partners in one location. It allows our business development staff and corporate employees to collaborate with others and stay informed regarding industry trends.”

This year, the DRG team will be in Room #304 C of the 2022 I/ITSEC conference. The team is accepting meeting invitations and welcomes development conversations. Court Schafer, DRG’s vice president of business development responded, “We welcome the opportunity to discuss upcoming industry opportunities with other businesses attending the conference.”
