DRG donates $10,000 to Folds of Honor

As a way to give back to the more than 500 veterans DRG employs across the globe who continue to dedicate themselves to supporting our military, the company recently donated $10,000 to Folds of Honor.

The nonprofit organization provides scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. The scholarships, worth up to $5,000 per school year, provide educational assistance for academic levels of K-12th grade or higher education.

“We are incredibly impressed with the mission and felt it was something our employees could be proud of as well,” said Brian Busey, DRG’s president and chief operating officer. “We will be making more donations in the future to honor our employees by supporting this organization. It’s incredibly important that with the amount of veterans we have on our team that we find the most effective ways to give back.”

Folds of Honor was founded in 2007 by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, a former F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard. Since then, the Oklahoma-based organization has grown to 30 chapters across the nation and has awarded 29,000 scholarships – 4,500 for the 2020-’21 academic year alone.
