Company to build warehouse near airport to accommodate growth
OKLAHOMA CITY (April 21, 2023) – Global aerospace and defense contractor Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC (DRG) is set to build a new facility near Will Rogers World Airport to accommodate continued growth.
DRG is based in Oklahoma City with its headquarters located in the Quail Springs Corporate Park. The new 12,000-square-foot facility will be located at 4616 SW 20th St. Gerald Gamble managed the transaction. Jenjon Properties and DPI will perform the construction. DRG is set to break ground on the facility within 30 days. The secure facility, which is expected to be completed by October, will be located on a little over an acre.
DRG has expanded service lines within device relocations, staff augmentations, kit and modification installation, and global interim contractor support within the last few years. The facility is necessary to maintain existing work demand and continued growth.
“The opportunity and ability to continue expanding our operations in Oklahoma is a priority for DRG and our family,” said DRG Chairman and CEO Phil G. Busey Sr., who founded the company in 2002.
DRG remains owned and operated by the Busey family, which has chosen to invest in the new facility to store tools, equipment, simulators, training devices, machinery, vehicles, and supplies to service its customers on a global scale. The facility will enable convenient access to the airport for shipping and logistics needs around the globe as well as allow for storage and additional office space needed to accommodate for continued growth DRG is experiencing with increased demand from its customer base. The site allows for the addition of a second stand-alone warehouse if necessary to meet continued demand.
DRG is set to break ground on a 12,000-square-foot facility at 4616 SW 20th St. in Oklahoma City. The site, which is a little more than an acre, can accommodate for a second, stand-alone warehouse if needed.
