DRG awarded flight instruction contract

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma has been awarded a subcontract to begin flight instruction services in Saudi Arabia.

The effort is in support of the AH-6 weapons system under a foreign military sales agreement. The initial subcontract will establish an office in Saudi Arabia, with plans to operate through 2021. The Boeing manufactured AH-6 is a light helicopter gunship and variant of the MH-6 Little Bird helicopter.

“As we continue to grow in the international training market, these are the types of added services we have been targeting to set us apart as a total training systems integrator,” said Brian Busey, president and chief operating officer. Oklahoma City-based DRG also added several subcontracts in the last 60 days. The contracts are to perform instructor services, contractor logistics support, engineering support, contractor operation and maintenance services, and other related services. DRG plans to add new locations in San Diego, California; Wichita, Kansas; and Burlington, Vermont; and add existing work in Pensacola, Florida, and St. Louis, Missouri.
