Looking back at 2024, we are beyond grateful for the remarkable milestones achieved and continued growth we’ve experienced at DRG! This year brought historic growth for DRG. Here are a few of the highlights:
January: We began the year strong with two major contract wins. DRG was awarded a Lockheed Martin task order for LMR Support Services, expanding our aviation, logistics, and maintenance capabilities. Additionally, we secured the USAF's Rotary Aircrew Training System (RATS) Contractor Logistics Support/Training Systems Support Center (CLS/TSSC) contract as the prime contractor for a five-year term. DRG’s Field Service and Relocation (FSR) division conducted first disposition of a full motion training simulator of 2025.
February: To support our growing operations, we expanded our corporate offices through a major remodel, enabling us to hire and house additional corporate-level employees. DRG’s FSR division also began a complex relocation of fuselage training device, installation was completed later in the year.
March: The RATS program officially launched, marking a seamless transition thanks to our dedicated team and partners. We welcomed new employees and deepened our commitment to supporting the American warfighter. DRG was also awarded an Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) contract for Tactical Systems Operator (TSO) aircrew training support. The effort is for training support for TSOs on MC-12W/BE-300 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) variant aircraft at Will Rogers Air National Guard Base, Oklahoma City.
April: In a historic moment, DRG and the Boeing Company signed a Memorandum of Execution (MOE), establishing a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This agreement allows DRG to provide critical services like logistics, aircrew training, courseware development, and flight line maintenance as needed, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving mission requirements. This milestone reflects over two decades of collaboration and sets the stage for continued global support.
May: In partnership with Boeing, DRG proudly participated in SOF Week in Tampa, showcasing our contributions to warfighters at Boeing's Small Business Hub. Connecting with industry leaders and innovators reinforced our role in supporting Special Operations Forces. Also in May, DRG’s FSR team began a series of training device visual replacements and installation support on multiple devices.
June: CEO Brian Busey had the honor of hosting U.S. Senator James Lankford at our Oklahoma City headquarters. During his visit, we discussed workforce development, government acquisition, and education initiatives crucial to advancing the aerospace and defense industry. DRG’s Field Service and Relocation (FSR) division continued it’s support for F-35 visual installs as subcontractor to Collins Aerospace. The FSR team also concluded successful interim full flight simulator support services in Japan.
July: DRG secured a Surface Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services contract with the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, expanding our global reach to 16 Surface Warfare training locations. In addition to this astounding achievement, DRG was also awarded a task order for Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Training Squadron 2 (VMUT-2) MQ-9 Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) Instructors.
August: DRG’s affiliated sister company Cardinal Point, LLC was awarded a subcontract from Lockheed Martin for ILSS support for both CONUS and OCONUS support. We strengthened our community partnerships by hosting USO Oklahoma at our headquarters, deepening our commitment to supporting active-duty service members and their families.
Additionally, President Philip Busey Jr. was appointed to the newly created Price Executive Academy Advisory Board at the University of Oklahoma, advancing DRG’s continued commitment to helping advance aerospace and defense workforce development within Oklahoma.

Also in September, DRG founder Phil G. Busey Sr. received the prestigious Statesmanship Award from the Cherokee Nation during the 72nd Annual Cherokee National Holiday, honoring his lifelong advocacy and service. This recognition underscores his dedication to Cherokee values and community advancement.
October: Woody Ganis was promoted to Vice President of Programs, joining DRG’s executive leadership team. His exceptional leadership, mentorship, and dedication have played a pivotal role in our success. Also in October, DRG completed the T-6 rehost modification and T-38 visual system replacement – both ahead of schedule! Our team was also awarded a task order under Boeing for AH-64 Apache LCT support in Morocco.
DRG’s founder Phil G. Busey Sr. was inducted into the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation Wall of Fame. Busey Sr. is a graduate of Classen High School and was honored for his lasting impact and contributions supporting public schools and our local community.
November: In a significant achievement, DRG was awarded an eight-year follow-on contract for the T-6 JPATS program, continuing our legacy of providing critical training and logistics services that support military pilots' development. We also proudly supported four veteran-focused organizations: Warriors For Freedom Foundation, Wounded Warriors Family Support, Folds of Honor, and the Gary Sinise Foundation. With over 50% of our workforce made up of veterans, this initiative is personal and impactful.
December: DRG capped off the year by participating in I/ITSEC 2024, marking our 18th consecutive year attending the world's largest modeling, simulation, and training conference. Our team engaged with industry leaders to further our mission of supporting the warfighter. Also in the final month of the year, DRG received a task order to for F-15 Maintenance Instruction Support under Boeing. DRG’s Field Service and Relocation division completed a complex full motion simulator device relocation and fuselage trainer relocation for a customer prior to close of 2024.
