TULSA — The Oklahoma Minority Supplier Development Council (OMSDC) held its annual leadership dinner in Tulsa Thursday evening at the Hard Rock Casino and Resort. Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC was named Supplier of the Year, Class 4.
Class 4 is for companies greater than $50 million in annual sales. Brian Busey, Sr Vice President and COO accepted the award on behalf of the company and Phil Busey Sr. who is recovering from Guillian-Barre Syndrome.
DRG’s chairman and CEO Phil Busey Sr. was grateful for the award.
“We are really honored to have been chosen one of OSMDC’s Minority Small Business of the Year,” said Busey Sr. “I am thankful for the support the OMSDC gives to DRG and other minority businesses in Oklahoma.”
This is the second time DRG has been honored as supplier of the year by the OMSDC. In 2009, DRG was named Class 3 Supplier of the Year.
The OMSDC was established in 1976 as a privately funded non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. Its mission is to promote and support minority businesses in the State of Oklahoma.
